兒童視神經路徑膠質細胞瘤（optic pathway glioma）是一個少見的腦內腫瘤，最常在年紀輕的小朋友身上發現。這是一個病理分類上，所謂“良性”的腫瘤，但是因為腫瘤生長於視神經路徑，若不治療會影響病童視力，雖然生長緩慢，也還是會有出血及阻塞性水腦的風險，造成輕則失能；重則喪失生命的結果。此類腫瘤的治療由以往的單純以手術切除為主，經由多年的觀察研究與臨床試驗，發現化學藥物治療可以讓腫瘤穩定甚至縮小，同時也可維持病童多年來的生活品質，不失為明智的治療選擇。因此，本文將此腦瘤就手術、放射線治療、化學藥物治療，做一個統整性的介紹。
