安非他命為中樞神經興奮劑，目前在臺灣為二級管制毒品。使用安非他命的急性副作用有失眠、焦躁不安、高體溫、甚至是癲癇發作。長期使用除了物質濫用與依賴的問題，還會有躁動、多疑、妄想、幻覺、甚至是大腦認知功能的改變，也有轉變為思覺失調症之風險。關於安非他命使用者的治療，目前實證並無有效的藥物，因此在治療上是以心理社會治療為主軸。
