甲狀腺射頻消融術(radiofrequency ablation, RFA)為一個有效且安全的治療。目前的臨床運用以良性甲狀腺腫瘤為主,但也可作為復發的甲狀腺惡性腫瘤替代療法。此外,近期也有研究將其作為原發甲狀腺惡性腫瘤的第一線運用,不過尚無確切的指引。術前的詳細評估是必要的,而對器械及操作技術的熟悉,為提高治療成功率以及降低手術併發症的重要的因素。國立臺灣大學醫院耳鼻喉部已進行多年射頻消融術於甲狀腺之臨床治療,至今也累積了許多的經驗。本文主要為回顧臨床的經驗和文獻的結果,對射頻消融術對於甲狀腺的運用做介紹,作為臨床醫師執行甲狀腺射頻消融術時一些建議與指引。
