內視鏡逆行性膽胰管造影術（endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, ERCP）是現今可以用來診斷與治療胰臟、膽囊與其相關構造疾病的一個方式。不過相對於其他的檢查，內視鏡逆行性膽胰管造影術相對還是屬於較具侵入性的檢查，而最常見的併發症為內視鏡逆行性膽胰管造影術造成的胰臟炎（post-ERCP pancreatitis, PEP）。因此，除了熟悉病人狀況以及確認病人符合內視鏡逆行性膽胰管造影術的適應症，也必須了解內視鏡逆行性膽胰管造影術造成的胰臟炎的臨床症狀、診斷標準、處置，以及如何透過有效的方法降低併發症的發生率。
