新型冠狀病毒於2019年底出現在中國大陸,此後新冠肺炎擴散到全世界,對全球的公衛醫療、經濟生活及人民的生命健康造成莫大影響。臺灣也於2021年5月開始爆發新冠肺炎疫情,政府與醫療機構也投入了相當多的人力與物力。然而,這些過度集中的醫療資源投入處理新冠肺炎疫情之時,勢將排擠其它疾病照護的量能,包括其他相對弱勢的傳染性病,如結核病。本篇著眼新冠肺炎疫情期間,討論結核病的延遲診斷及住院患者的特殊考量。
