全球網際網路的快速發展,值得言猶在耳的「資訊時代」之名稱定義,逐漸以「參與的時代」、「人人可為作者的社會」等說法,更貼切地表彰著如今我們身處的時空環境。其中,部落格的風潮儼然吹出一門當代社會脈絡下的新媒體風潮,以來自能草根的平民力量,一躍成為上層階級的新寵兒。在博物館界,為了因應新世代的觀眾,亦正面臨須祭出各樣行銷法寶的同時,部落格此種與博物館的傳統似乎矛盾的公眾媒介,究竟宜否、又如何成為博物館的自有媒體,藉以網羅更多的觀眾群、開創新的市場,這些將是本文關切的要點。筆者就「媒體」與「社群」兩個面向分別;探討博物館如何以部落格的公民媒體力量,有效地引導潛在觀眾參與實體展覽、並將之作為觀眾研究的資源;透過國外的案例觀察,希冀為國內的博物館提供未來是否應用的參考。 |
英文摘要 |
The rapid development of the World Wide Web has shifted the social definition of "information age" to "the age of participation" and "authorship society" to more precisely reflect the current reality. Among Internet phenomena, blogs have been embraced by the general public, and have created opportunities for institutions to extend their relationships with their audiences. In the museum field, when considering the many types of marketing methods available, museum curators should ask themselves whether a blog, a platform for citizen journalism, can be used as a powerful medium, as well as how they can attract a new generation of visitors and open new markets through the use of blogs. These are the questions that this study seeks to answer from the aspects of "media" and "communities". In addition, this paper attempts to explore ways for museums to apply blogs to develop potential audiences and transform them into new museum goers, as well as to carry out visitor studies. Several examples from other countries will be used to provide an important reference for Taiwan's museums in the application of this new media form. |
