不同時代、不同類型的博物館,對不同的人代表著不同的意義。博物館是否能夠成為人們的學習資源,端視人們之於博物館的需要和想望。本文先就博物館發展歷史,簡述不同時代博物館資源使用者的不同。其次介紹博物館和圖書館進行異業合作發展及推廣學習資源的努力,以及整理規劃學習資源環境的參考實例。再其次則以青少年及博物館原生社群為對象,說明博物館如何以發展觀眾的理念與實務,讓原來無緣接觸博物館資源的族群,成為與博物館共創資源的親密夥伴。需要不等同於想要,本文最後提醒博物館正視研究發展的需要,期盼博物館工作者都能有永續發展學習資源的殷切想望。 |
英文摘要 |
It is a known fact that the museum has different meanings to different individuals at different times. It is also true that the museum resources people use for learning (self-guided or program directed) depend on their needs and wants. Therefore, it is the purpose of this paper to discuss what and how museum resources being developed to meet the wants and needs of different groups. The paper also addresses the issue of the collaboration between museums and libraries for developing and promoting learning resources and creating an enhanced learning environment. In addition, the author introduces ideas and methods for helping teenagers and engaging source communities as partners in developing museum resources. Finally, the author stresses the importance of research and development (R&D) to improve museum learning capacities and museum personnel skills. The need is there, and it is museum's responsibility to meet that need. If we as museum professionals can do more to serve our host communities, can we do less? |
