博物館為現代資訊社會最重要的知識創造及傳播機構之一，過去長期由跨領域內容專家產出具經營及服務價值的智識資產，因缺乏統整知識管理策略、流程及技術支援，未能加以集中儲存與管理而分散各處，甚至大量流失，導致無法善用及創新過去累積之發展經驗及智識資產因而弱化整體營運競爭力及觀眾服務優質化。發展數位博物館近年來已成為博物館知識傳達及與觀眾互動，最具影響力的傳播方式，本文以建構跨領域知識管理為核心之數位博物館，提出統整式知識管理模式，導入統整知識建構管理、加值再利用，分享傳播之發展策略、實務流程及資訊技術平臺，解決跨領域及跨部門間缺乏統整造成知識分散及流失的問題，進而能加以善用，達到內容與服務的加值及創新。本模式已被應用於國立自然科學博物館數位典藏國家型科技計畫第一、二期計畫，及發展整合數位博物館與實體博物館之「虛實整合」經營推廣模式中，整體發展模式與經驗值得分享國內外博物館界、學術界及產業界參考。然而，本模式在推動過程面臨內容建構延展性與完整性、跨領域專業團隊的投入、組織全面性的支持與配合、教育及產業應用的落差及融入博物館永續發展等具侷限與挑戰議題必須克服，是本模式能否全面成功實施的關鍵。

The museum is one of the most important institutions for knowledge creation and communication in the modern information-based society. In the past, the operational and service values of knowledge assets provided by interdisciplinary content managers and the inability to store and manage knowledge assets, as well as the absence of strategies, processes and technical support for integrated knowledge management resulted in the scattering and loss of these assets. Even worse, full use and innovation of past development experience and knowledge assets were impossible. As a result, overall operational competitiveness and visitor service optimization were weakened. In recent years, the digital museum has become an effective and influential way for museums to spread knowledge to and interact with audiences. This paper proposes a unified knowledge management model by constructing a digital museum that emphasizes interdisciplinary knowledge management. Strategies, practical processes and IT platforms for unified management of knowledge content construction, value-added sharing and promotion of applications are put forth. The proposed unified knowledge management system has been applied to the first and second phases of the National Digital Archives Program of National Museum of Natural Sciences (NMNS) and the ＂virtual and physical integration＂ operational model for developing and integrating digital and physical museums. The overall development model and experience are worth sharing with museums, scholars and industries worldwide. However, the key to the success of this model lies in resolving the following issues: content extension and integrity, involvement of interdisciplinary and professional teams, full organizational support and cooperation, application divide between education and industry, and integration with the sustainable development efforts of museums.
