| 英文摘要 |
Dana's thoughts on museum construction are of importance to the field of museology. The aim of this study is to examine Dana's thoughts regarding several issues in museum construction, including pre-construction survey, the ideal museum model and museum building requirements. These thoughts are a type of introspection on museum practices in Dana's time and a summation of Dana's experience in the founding and operation of the Newark Museum. Meanwhile, they embody to a certain extent the basic characteristics of Dana's thoughts regarding museum construction. |
