本文的出發點，是對於「生態博物館」的反思。生態博物館的核心理念首在其生態的面向，包含整體環境的自然、文化與社會各個層面下，人的活動與生活。但生態博物館可以有更多樣的面貌。本文企圖突破過往博物館思考以及處理環境議題的方式，將環境人文研究的研究取向導入博物館研究的範疇，提供博物館處理遺產的理論架構，探究環境人文研究對於未來新型態生態博物館發展的啟示。本文首先就生態博物館此一詞彙發生與發展的脈絡、當前國際與國內對於此一詞彙的研究與實驗樣態做一整理，以期得以釐清當前我們對於生態博物館進行反思的意義。其次說明環境人文研究概念的重點，以及為何這樣的研究取向可以做為思考生態博物館在當代發展的養分。文章的第三部分介紹北投溪的自然文化資產之相關研究，以帶出筆者在國立臺北藝術大學博物館研究所進行的一項課程實驗。這項課程實驗的結果帶領我們反思生態博物館所著重的地域、遺產與社區之間的關係。最後，文本結論說明如何從環境人文與博物館學結合的觀點，重思北投溪的環境人文價值，並提出當代生態博物館的可能型態與存在意義。

This paper began by reflecting on the ecomuseum. The core concept of ecomuseums is ecological orientation, including human activity and life within the dimensions of nature, culture, and society that constitute the overall environment. Ecomuseums can take on diverse forms. The aims of this study are to break through previous thinking about museums and environmental topics and to incorporate environmental humanities research into museum studies to provide theoretical frameworks for museums in the handling of heritage, as well as to investigate environmental humanities research related to the development of ecomuseums. A literature review was conducted to determine the key points in the development of ecomuseums in Taiwan, the international context of environmental humanities research, and the natural and cultural heritage of the Beitou River. Through an experimental course at the Taipei National University of the Arts, Beitou River resources were analyzed from the perspective of environmental humanities. Finally, through interviews with cultural and historical workers in the Beitou area and environmental and humanities researchers in France, domestic experience and international exchanges were enhanced. Based on the results of this paper, rethinking the environmental humanities value of the Beitou River is of importance, as are reflections on the possible forms and reasons for the existence of contemporary ecomuseums.
