2021年國立臺灣歷史博物館「斯土斯民:臺灣的故事」常設展,在開展10年之際完成大規模展示局部更新。受限於經費,此次更新在原展覽既有的基礎下進行調整。雖然原有的大型造景仍保留不變,但其中展覽頭尾的展示完全打掉重練,圖文全面重新撰寫及設計,展品及多媒體均大幅增加。本文整理、記錄及分析國立臺灣歷史博物館此次更新的轉變。在國立臺灣歷史博物館進行原有展覽的問題及現有資源盤點後,以10年累積做為展覽基礎,但並非將展示觀點全數更新,而是1.0版的挪移。從「多元族群」觀點移動至「動態交會史」、從強調集體性的「大家的博物館」,調整為同時強調個體及集體。同時原提出的常民視角及原住民主體性,在2.0版被落實。在展示設計及轉化方式的運用上,採用對比性展示,並透過不同感官體驗避免參觀疲乏,更進一步創造了整場詩意的氛圍,讓觀眾心有所感。 |

In 2021, the permanent exhibition of the National Museum of Taiwan History (NMTH), entitled Our Land, Our People: The Story of Taiwan, underwent extensive renovation for the museum's 10^(th) anniversary. The budget for this update only allowed for adjustments based on the original structure. Therefore, while much of the structure remained the same, the first and last sections were completely redone with the introduction of new content and explanatory texts. Numerous displays and multimedia content were also added. The aims of this article are to document and analyze this exhibition renovation experience and, after a discussion of the issues and resources of the original exhibition, present how the museum shifted its point of view - instead of imposing a new one - based on its research outcomes of the past 10 years. From "multiple ethnicities" to "dynamic encounters," and from the collective idea of a "museum of the people" to the inclusion of individuality, this shift is evident in Our Land, Our People version 2.0, particularly in the parallel representations of folk narratives and the subjectivity of indigenous peoples. The updated exhibition is designed to encourage contrastive learning, while creating sensory experiences to avoid museum fatigue and providing a poetic atmosphere. |
