「不可能的夢」是「第59屆威尼斯雙年展」臺灣館的參展計畫，分為「文獻展示」及「國際論壇」兩個部分。「文獻展示」在威尼斯臺灣館展場「普里奇歐尼宮」舉辦，主要是回顧臺灣館13次參與威尼斯雙年展的歷史內容，並搭配數組以身體為藝術實踐的作品，以活檔案之姿重返現場；「國際論壇」則以4場線上論壇與檔案展覽進行對話，連結曾經參與威尼斯雙年展的作品，以此回應當代國際社群關心的議題。「不可能的夢」是臺灣館在面對全球疫情及自身突發狀況下所完成的不可能任務，本文梳理展覽籌辦始末，並評析展陳方式及展覽命題之意涵。

Impossible Dreams was the theme of the Taiwan Exhibition at the 59th Venice Biennale. It included two parts: archival display and international forums. The former took place at the Palazzo delle Prigioni in Venice and revisited the historical contexts of Taiwan's previous 13 collateral presentations at the Venice Biennale. Several works that had focused on physical expression were shown again on site as live archives. The latter was composed of four thematic sessions, forming dialogues with the archival display and connecting with works from previous exhibitions, to respond to contemporary issues of global concern. Impossible Dreams, a mission impossible in reaction to the global pandemic and Taiwan's own urgency, is now a mission accomplished. The aims of this article are to look at the circumstances around which this project was initiated and implemented and to examine its presentation forms and the connotations of its theme.
