針灸及中藥治療慢性皮膚搔癢與腸躁症之病例報告

根據International Forum for the Study of Itch（IFSI）的定義，不愉快的皮膚感覺導致想要搔抓，若持續六個星期以上稱為慢性皮膚搔癢；大腸激躁症則是臨床上常見的腸胃道疾病，西醫對其發病機轉尚未完全了解，因此治療以緩解症狀為主，仍無法根治這個疾病。本例病案報告一名60歲男性因皮膚搔癢及反覆腹瀉多年，嘗試西醫治療卻未明顯改善，透過中醫藥及針灸治療後使症狀大幅改善，希望可作為臨床醫師改善此類患者症狀的治療參考。

According to the definition of International Forum for the Study of Itch (IFSI), unpleasant skin sensation leads to scratching, if it lasts for more than six weeks, it is called chronic skin itching; Irritable bowel syndrome is a common clinical gastrointestinal disease, western medicine has not yet fully understood pathogenesis. Therefore, the treatment is mainly to relieve symptoms, but this disease cannot be cured. This case reports a 60-year-old man who tried western medicine for years of itchy skin and repeated diarrhea, but did not improve significantly. After treatment with Chinese medicine and acupuncture, the symptoms were greatly improved. It is hoped that it can be used as a reference for clinicians to improve the symptoms of such patients.
