元宇宙Metaverse的相關議題持續被探討,而2021年也是元宇宙的元年,許多科技產業看好未來的發展積極投入相關開發,而元宇宙是個興起的概念,它是利用VR、AR、MR等穿戴設備進入的虛擬世界,當中不只是玩遊戲還能體驗到接近真實與超越現實的多維空間,在電影一級玩家中清晰的展示了虛擬世界的各種可能。本研究欲呈現元宇宙的發展和觸及的面向,並以電影一級玩家來做為研究探討的對象,採用質性資料分析其敘事脈絡的梳理,和現象觀察的文本統合,建構在眾多面向中分類未來元宇宙的發展方向,其研究所得有高科技裝備的研發與升級、基礎設施完整性和軟硬體設備的支援需求、經濟體物聯網和區塊鏈的去中心化、使用者良好體驗和感受的滿足性、以及上述構成要素的串聯流暢度與安全機制等。

英文摘要

Since 2021, the first year of the Metaverse, topics related to the Metaverse have been continually explored. Many technology industries considered its future to be promising and have actively invested in relevant development. The Metaverse, as an emerging concept, allows experiencers to enter a virtual world where they can not only play games, but also experience a lifelike multidimensional space beyond the real world through wearable devices with virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality. The various possibilities of virtual world were vividly shown in the movie Ready Player One. Therefore, taking this movie as the case, this study aims to present the development of the Metaverse and its extension fields. Through qualitative data analysis, this study clarifies the development process of the Metaverse and integrates it with observation phenomena, to classify the future development directions of the Metaverse in numerous fields. The conclusions involve the research and development and upgrade of high-tech equipment, support needs of infrastructure integrity and hardware and software equipment, decentralization of the Internet of Things and blockchain in the economy, good user experience and the feeling of satisfaction, and cascade smoothness and safety mechanism of the above components.
