被窺視者的舉動往往有如量子糾纏一樣，會有另一個窺視者以遠程在場的方式的窺視或控管，筆者主觀地將之比擬為一種「遠程糾纏」。而窺視由固態實體定點模式，進化成移動、流動且不受空間限制，進而從國家、企業到個人互動無孔不入，變得可見與不可見地滲透蔓延到生活各層面，窺視者和空間相對關係逐漸薄弱，不一定是上對下的控制，而是人人都可以是窺視者和被窺視者，窺視也可以是關注他人的每日活動軌跡，大數據運算環境的成熟和全球導航的運用及行動通訊技術數位載具及軟體的發展，訊息自由流通跨越地理時空藩籬限制，帶來訊息流動的不受限，造成現代社會無既定模式的窺視形態。窺視在電子光學傳遞速度的推波助瀾下，已從傳統邊沁圓形窺視上對下的單一控制過渡到全景敞式窺視，發展出一系列對現代社會權力關係運作機制，現今代社會的隱私不再侷限於對訊息的擷取或隱藏，而是成為不受空間限制且流動狀態的後圓形窺視機制，相互關注他人活動軌跡，如同透明般沒有遮蔽分隔內外部的牆，人們像草履蟲般的透明無所遁形的在顯微鏡底下展示、曝光、揭露。本文試圖以社會觀察者的角度，梳理窺視起因、文化，並援引視覺藝術家藉由影像作品重新提問，或以窺視議題的手法介入與美學及社會關懷。觀看和窺視過程中，表達了藝術生命的隱私領域，被窺視者是一個凝視的對象，慾望的他者，視覺的催化劑，開顯了人的意識深處和生活的暗處，它召喚了人性情慾下的熱情和力比多。
