臺灣僑教政策已協助無數海外青年來臺就學，並為海外華社培育許多教育及專業人才，這些僑社的中堅力量，也往往是臺灣最佳的親善大使。本文藉史料分析及田野調查，透過「砂拉越留臺同學會」（Sarawak Taiwan Graduates' Association）的個案研究，發現留臺人士在海外長年推動華文教育，對於當地華文獨立中學發展多所助益。特別是，在類似留臺同學會組織及其長期建構之「留臺網絡」的影響下，除了實踐協助海外華校發展及華社青年升學的宗旨外，也增進臺砂兩地社會文化及商貿往來，拓展了臺灣的實質外交與國際邦誼。

Taiwan Overseas Chinese Education policy has assisted countless youth overseas to Taiwan school, and many overseas Chinese community nurture and education professionals, the backbone of these overseas Chinese, are often the best ambassadors of Taiwan. In this paper, by analyzing historical data and field investigations, through the ＂Sarawak Taiwan Graduates' Association＂ case studies we found that Taiwan Graduates' for many years to promote overseas Chinese education, the development of the local Independent Chinese Secondary School more than helpful. In particular, under the influence of similar sets of students will leave the organization and its long-term construction of the ＂Taiwan Graduates' Network＂, in addition to the practice of overseas Chinese schools to assist the development of the Chinese community and youth studies purposes, but also to promote Taiwan sand both socio-cultural and Entrepreneurship exchanges, expand the substance of Foreign Affairs and international Pradesh friendship Taiwan.
