The purpose of this study is to propose an "Innovative Classroom Management Instructional Strategy" (ICMIS) that trains OMIT (Observation, Memory, Imagination, Thinking) ability, applies the theories of choice, play, and exercise with practical abilities, and utilizes MindMapping to improve college students' basic abilities and innovative learning. ICMIS is employed in the "Topics in Classroom Management" course for junior college students. This study is a mixed methods research that collects both qualitative and quantitative data including: 1) the instructor's observations, interviews, and reflections; 2) students' responses to their own learning, their reflections, and assignments; and 3) students' questionnaires. This study aims to provide creative ideas and revelations to improve students' learning efficacy, enhance teachers' thinking, and demonstrate high-quality classroom teaching effectiveness.
