國民的健康狀態與個人健康素養息息相關，提升民眾醫療照護知識能使他們瞭解自身的健康情況，更期望民眾在接受專業手術治療後可以強化自我照護能力。為分析民眾自我閱讀醫療照護文件之有效性，因此本研究針對以病人為主之心臟醫療照護文件進行可讀性分析，該自動評鑑機制可以快速檢視目標文件是否適合一般民眾閱讀，評鑑結果可以協助特定醫療教育文件內容的編輯修改。評鑑準則主要是依據日常生活常用字彙及醫學專業術語的使用頻率，辨識特徵包括文件專業醫學辭彙之詞頻、文件專業醫學辭彙字數比例和專業醫學辭彙多樣性指標。本研究使用five-fold交叉驗證進行系統效能評估，並獲得召回率0.9333、精確率0.9714 和正確率0.95。

National health status is closely linked to people's health literacy. Promoting general medical knowledge can facilitate citizens to understand their own health conditions, especially, to improve patient's ability to take care of themselves appropriately when discharged from hospitals after surgery. Our research intends to develop a patient-oriented readability assessment mechanism, especially focusing on heart disease related medical care documents. The automatic evaluation system can efficiently and effectively evaluate whether the target documents is suitable for general people to read. The experimental results show that our proposed tool is useful to label the readability of medical documents. The evaluation guidelines are based on word frequencies of daily used and professional medical terms. The features include word frequency of professional medical terms, character count of proportion of professional medical terms, and diversity indicator of professional medical terms.. The evaluation mechanism applied a five-fold cross verification to reflect the robustness of the proposed system. As a result, a recall rate of 0.9333, precision rate of 0.9714, and an accuracy rate of 0.95 were achieved.
