近年來物聯網已經成為資訊界的主軸之一,無線連網的技術為物聯網帶來更大的便利性,對物聯網而言,日常運轉、數據傳輸和中央信息處理也需要耗損電量,如何省電是對於物聯網而言相當重要的。在本研究來說是以ESP32這塊單晶片作為主體,透過Arduino IDE開發環境將不同深度睡眠時間的程式碼燒錄至ESP32,再利用電壓測量的電路去量測供電電池電壓變化,以比較不同設定之間,電量消耗的情況。實驗中,我們發現單晶片的電量消耗主要還是在無線網路的傳輸上,當資料傳送的頻率降低時,可以很明顯的看到電量的消耗減少,但由於資料的更新率會影響到物聯網應用的效果,因此,相信在未來,探討在物聯網應用的效果與電量消耗之間的取捨應該會成為一個重要的課題。 |
英文摘要 |
Recently, IOT(internet of things) becomes one of major subject of information technology. Using WIFI to connect to internet brings more convenience. However, operating and data transformation in the daily work will consuming electric power. Thus, to saving electric power also becomes an important topic. In this research, we use ESP32 MCU as an example. We use Arduino IDE to burn the programs with different power consuming into an ESP32 MCU and use a circuit to measure the voltage of the battery used by the MCU dynamically. By this method, we can observed that difference of power consuming among different programs. In the experiment, we found that the data transformation rate will affect the power consuming significantly. However, for many applications, we need enough data transformation rate to reach the effect. We believe that the trade off between the two considerations will become an important subject in the future. |
