In current, the image content has become an important message record and communication channel. The student takes the image as the text notes. Also, the image is applied to various applications in our daily life. Since the image is widespread, the security issue is more concerned. In this paper, a wavelet transformation based watermarking for image authentication is proposed. The relationship of wavelet coefficients is explored to find the features of the image content. The image features are taken as the authentication code (AC) and then embedded into the image without perceptivity. The experimental results show the performance of the proposed scheme that the malicious image can be detected and the tampered areas can be located. Furthermore, the authentication of the image is efficient and applied to mobile devices.
