英文摘要 |
During the Tang dynasty, the communication between Yunnan and Vietnam had already flourished, and geographers such as Chia Tan 賈耽 and Fan Ch'o 樊綽 recorded it in detail. However, according to the account of Fan Ch'o, there were actually two routes. One passed through Ku-yung-pu 賈勇步, i.e., the old route during the Han and Chin periods. Ku-yung-pu was located approximately in the present Wen-shan 文山 district on the bank of the P'an-lung Chiang 盤龍江. Another route passed through Pu-t'ou 步頭 by way of the Fleuve Rouge, Pu-t'ou was situated approximately in the present Man-hao 蠻耗 district. At that time, the travelling-company usually travelled by way of Ku-yung-pu, i.e. the present route of the P'an-lung Chiang. Therefore, the journey recorded by Chia Tan and Fan Ch'o was mainly by way of this route. But from the Ch'ing dynasty onward, oriental and occidental scholars all have mistaken Ku-yung-pu and Pu-t'ou as one place and the two routes as one way, i.e., by way of the Fleuve Rouge. Indeed, this has been a great mistake, so I have to write this article to show the matter in the right light. |
