相較於正常視力者,視覺障礙者在學習資源上屬於極為弱勢之族群,此種情況不但影響視障族群的受教權利,且易間接造成其自卑感的產生。本研究從互動設計的角度,以行動裝置內建的文字轉語音(TTS)功能為基礎,規劃一合適的聽讀介面APP作為書籍報讀的學習輔具,期以滿足視障教學之現場需求。在前述之目標下,本文於前置之調查階段,採用二因子實驗之架構,以「資訊量」與「性別」為探討之變項,讓受測者在聽取不同資訊量的情境後,分別就其「聽讀負荷」給予主觀之評分,再經由變異數分析來評估視障族群聽讀的負荷差異,以提供後續階段的聽讀APP介面規劃之設計參考。研究結果發現:(1)段落內文的資訊量與不同性別的視障者間並無明顯的交互作用;(2)男性與女性的視障者在聽讀負荷上亦未有顯著之差異產生;(3)不同資訊量間,雖有明顯的聽讀負荷差異出現,但均落於視障者可接受的正向範圍內,故在TTS的語音報讀進行學習輔助時,書籍內文的段落建議以原狀態呈現為佳。 |
英文摘要 |
The visually impaired people who belong to minority groups have less privileges than their normal sighted counterparts in terms of acquiring learning resources. Under such circumstances, the visually impaired can become less confident partly because their right to receive education would have been affected by such factors, and they will most likely feel inferior in comparison to others. This study is aimed to organize a proper interface for listening and reading, using the app as a learning vehicle for book reading based on the integrated text-to-speech (TTS) features on a mobile device from the perspective of interaction design. Hopefully, it can satisfy the needs for onsite research on teaching for visually impaired learners. Under the premise that the said goal is considered, this paper adopts the structure of Two-Factor Analysis of Variance for experiment in the pre-stage of investigation, using variables to explore "Information quantity" and "Gender". After the subjects were put in a scenario where they can access different information quantities through listening, the researcher would give subjective ratings to the "Load of listening and reading" respectively and evaluate the differences between the load of listening and reading among the visually impaired group through the Analysis of Variance. It serves as a reference to plan and design the app interface for listening and reading in the follow-up stage. Research findings showed that there are three results: (1) Obviously, there was no interaction among the visually impaired subjects in terms of information quantity within a context of paragraph and different genders; (2) Obviously, there was no difference between the male and female visually impaired subjects in terms of the load of listening and reading; (3) Although some visible differences among different information quantities do occur in terms of the load of listening and reading, it was still in an acceptable condition within the positive range for the visually impaired subjects. Therefore, it is suggested that the paragraph of the article in the book should be displayed as it is when working on a learning vehicle, using the TTS voice reading features. |
