本文旨在說明核心反應訓練(Pivotal Response Treatment,簡稱PRT)之四個主要核心行為:「動機」、「對多重線索的反應」、「自我管理」及「自我主動」中的第三個核心行為「自我管理」之定義、背景、及優點。本文亦歸納了核心反應訓練中,自我管理的實施步驟及在教學上之應用,供實務工作者參考。

英文摘要

The PRT (Pivotal Response Treatment) intervention targets on four pivotal areas of children's development, including motivation, responsivity to multiple cues, self-management, and social initiations. The article is to describe the definition and theoretical background of self-management. Also, the procedures of implementing self-management are described. A student with autism who has behavior problems in the classroom is as a case example for establishing a step by step self-management program. At last, the advantages and the limitations of self-management are addressed.
