Chun-ming Huang is an important writer of the Taiwanese native literature. His creative direction is very diverse, and many of his works are concerned with women's lives and situations. Chun-ming Huang's novel "Xiuqin, This Girl Who Loves to Laugh" published in September 2020 is no exception. Through the pitiful laughter of the heroine Xiuqin, the novel vividly depicts a beautiful, kind and strong female image. From the perspective of radical feminism, this paper aims to analyze the novel "Xiuqin, This Girl Who Loves to Laugh" and explore the situation of the heroine Xiuqin under the domination of the patriarchal social atmosphere, this paper also investigates how she deals with advancing and retreating. Through Xiuqin's self-consciousness and her tragic ending, the novel outlines the whole picture of women being oppressed by men, thereby showing Taiwanese women's awareness of their destiny and their independent spirit.
