Because of its unique geographical location and special geological conditions, Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County has become a landslide disaster‐prone area, which seriously affects the local development. Therefore, it is particularly important to evaluate the landslide susceptibility for it. Based on regional geological disaster survey data and remote sensing images, establish a landslide disaster database. Then, eight evaluation factors including elevation, slope angle, slope direction, curvature, lithology, rainfall, distance from the river, and distance from the fault zone were selected to establish the landslide evaluation system, which is based on frequency ratio and coupled model of analytic hierarchy process (FR‐AHP). Using the natural breakpoint method, research regionalization was divided into 4 categories: extremely high(9.09%), high(13.49%), moderate(42.14%) and low(35.28%) susceptibility area. The results show that the extremely high‐risk areas are concentrated in the range of 2km on both sides of the fault zone, the high‐risk areas are banded along with the range of 600m on both sides of the river, the moderate risk areas are mainly distributed in the middle and east regions far from the river, and the low‐risk areas are distributed in the western mountainous areas where the river and fault zone are not developed. By introducing the accuracy assessment method proposed by Receiver Operating characteristic Curve), the prediction accuracy of the model is about 77.67%, and the prediction results have a high accuracy, which can be used as a reference for local disaster prevention and reduction. |
