In the process of fortification of debris flow disasters, the frequency of debris flow outbreaks must be taken as the standard and important parameter of fortification. This study mainly takes the Tibet Autonomous Region as the research object, explores its debris flow and rainfall frequency, and calculates the peak flow value based on the online linear rain‐flood method. On this basis, the bulk density of the debris flow is the main factor, and the characteristic parameters of the velocity and flow rate of the debris flow are calculated. Finally, it is concluded that debris flows occur on average every two years in Tibet. Due to the undulating terrain and abundant water resources in Tibet, the extremely strong peak flow of debris flow will be generated in the case of heavy rainfall, which is 6 times that of the debris flow that occurs once in two years. This research will further accurately determine the evaluation rate and detailed data of debris flow outbreaks, help relevant departments select standards for debris flow disaster prevention projects, and help Tibet prevent debris flow disasters. |
