Since the beginning of the Silk Road, Dunhuang has amassed a great history and has been subjected to several destructions and restorations. Now, inspired by the well‐known ＂Digital Dunhuang＂ project and the rapidly spreading NFT technology, numerous types of intangible cultural asset conservation are being expanded: The unique NFT‐style creative and artistic copyright of Dunhuang may be created, and its data is unalterable and transparent. This location's protection mechanism and economic operation model are established via decentralization and other benefits. It can conserve Dunhuang cultural materials through digital storage on the one hand and use its copyright to attract investment and boost Dunhuang's economic advantages on the other. It may also better broaden the impact of young audiences and recruit more young talent to conserve Dunhuang's intangible cultural property under this protection system. This essay will begin with the existing state of supernatural cultural heritage protection in Dunhuang . By examining the feasibility of digital copyright protection, illuminate a new path for future intangible cultural heritage preservation in Dunhuang.
