As an important force to change the industrial competition pattern, business model innovation has become an important breakthrough in analyzing the transformation and upgrading of hidden champions. Taking 19 hidden champion enterprises as samples, using clear set qualitative comparative analysis (csQCA), this paper discusses the multiple dynamic factors and action mechanism of business model innovation of hidden champion enterprises in China. The study found that there are four types of business model innovation driving paths: innovation input type, policy guidance type, integrated development type and high risk resistance type. By analyzing the typical enterprises in each business model innovation driving path, it provides enlightenment for manufacturing enterprises to explore and implement business model innovation.
