With the continuous expansion of terminal consumer groups, the minimum matching of logistics supply and demand, flexible production, and integration of personalized consumption have gradually become the direction of logistics modernization and innovation. As a new type of logistics operation mode, cross‐dock eliminates the warehousing link in the distribution process, reduces transportation time and operation costs, and is widely used by various enterprises. To reduce the operating cost of cross-dock, and optimize the dock‐door assignment, vehicle routing, resource schedule, and other issues, this paper Combining dock operations with delivery works, an integrated optimization model to minimize the sum of operation costs, temporary storage costs, rental costs, transportation costs, and penalty costs is established. An improved adaptive genetic algorithm is designed to solve the model, an initial population is generated based on temporal‐spatial distance, and a reversal operator is introduced to further improve the iterative efficiency of the algorithm. The correctness of the model and the effectiveness of the algorithm are proved by solving examples in different scales. The results of the example show that the two strategies of mixed mode of service and integrated optimization can effectively reduce the operating cost of the cross‐dock distribution center, which provides a reference for the cross‐dock to optimize the delivery scheme.
