For the problems of poor portability, low accuracy, poor anti‐interference ability and calibration difficulties of liquid density meter, this paper designs and develops a U-shaped quartz vibration tube technology based on STM32 microcontroller to achieve fuel density measurement. According to different liquids whose own quality is different, when the liquid fills the U‐shaped quartz tube, it will affect the U‐shaped quartz tube oscillation frequency, and then the frequency signal will be amplified by the op‐amp amplifier circuit, and then the STM32 microcontroller will collect and convert its oscillation frequency into the density of the liquid to be measured by the density calculation formula. The experimental results show that the method makes the liquid densitometer accurate to 0.02 g/ml, repeatability ±0.02 g/ml, stability and reproducibility are effectively improved, easy to carry and simple to calibrate.
