In order to study whether the smoke generator can more accurately simulate the spread of smoke in a real fire scene, a model of a double‐storey exhibition build‐ing in Harbin was established through FDS fire simulation software, and the temperature and smoke volume of the smoke generator's smoke model were studied. For the effect of smoke spread, compare the smoke spread of the real fire model, and analyze the difference of smoke spread from the two perspectives of visibility and indoor temperature distribution. Through comparison, it is concluded that the indoor visibility under the smoke generator model has a similar change curve to that of the real fire scene, and the visibility reduction height is obviously different; the temperature field distribution of the smoke generator model is similar to that of the real fire scene As for the stratification phenomenon, the temperature of the real fire model is significantly higher than that of the smoke generator model. |
