With the continuous development of social economy, science and technology also keep changing the existing social structure in various fields. Innovative science and technology can not only meet people's ever‐changing life needs, but also improve people's living environment, drive the pleasure of life, guarantee people's quality of life, and thus promote the country's scientific and technological development. And the building as a space for people's activities in daily life, whether it is a company or a home, its safety is a hot spot of great concern to the society nowadays. In this paper, by combining the background of the development of science and technology innovation in China at present, we analyze the existing innovative science and technology in construction safety in China, summarize the development problems that have not yet been solved, and put forward relevant countermeasures to provide new ideas for the future application of science and technology in the cause of construction safety in China.
