With the continuous construction of highway network, highway health status detection is very necessary, and highway inspection method is one of the most critical technologies. This paper first summarizes the road recognition algorithm and visual navigation technology in intelligent highway inspection, then introduces the intelligent highway inspection system based on unmanned vehicles and drones, and analyzes its application scenarios and advantages. Finally, the prospect of the future intelligent highway inspection system is put forward.
