本研究以中草藥複方添加於飼料中,探討其對雞隻增重之影響。本試驗場域位於臺灣新竹縣的肉雞畜牧場,飼養購自於臺灣南投縣之蘆花雞400隻(2019年3月21日孵化),選32隻蘆花雞隨機均分為飼料添加中草藥複方之試驗組(n=16)與飼料不添加中草藥複方之對照組(n=16),試驗為期43天(2019年6月3日至2019年7月15日),應用SPSS軟體進行試驗數據之統計分析與獨立t檢定。試驗結果顯示,在雞隻平均增重方面,試驗組顯著比對照組增加155.25公克(p<0.01),顯示飼料添加中草藥複方飼養雞隻有較佳的增重表現。本試驗結果可作為飼養蘆花雞及相關禽類業者之參考。在天然資源匱乏地區及對環境友善的立場下,為可持續農業提供更進一步的研究與應用。

英文摘要

In this study, a Chinese herbal medicine compound was added to the feed to explore the results of chicken weight gain. The site of this experiment is located in the broiler livestock farm in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. The chicken species is " Barred Plymouth Rock Chickens ", The total figure is 400, purchased from Nantou County, Taiwan; the incubation date is March 21, 2019; The trial period is from June 3, 2019 to July 15, 2019; this experiment was divided into control group and experimental group. Each group randomly selected 16 chickens and distinguished the experimental design of "daily feed with Chinese herbal medicine compound (experimental group, n = 16)" and "daily feed without Chinese herbal medicine compound (control group, n = 16)" The trial lasted for 6 weeks (43 days). In this study, SPSS software was used to perform descriptive statistics and independent t-tests of mean differences. The test results showed that the experimental group was 155.25 grams heavier than the control group (p <0.01), with significant weight gain. This result can provide a reference for the Barred Plymouth Rock Chickens breeding industry and related poultry business operations. In areas where natural resources are scarce and environmentally friendly, and for sustainable agriculture provide further research and development ideas and basis.
