A Study on the Changes and Challenges Faced by the Traditional Herbal Medicine Industry in the Post-epidemic Period

This study explores the impact of the global novel coronavirus epidemic on the traditional herbal medicine industry in Asia and the development trends of the industry in the post-epidemic period. Through literature review and analysis methods, the impact of the epidemic on health awareness, the increased demand for traditional herbal medicines, and modern technologies in the traditional herbal medicine industry were studied. The results show that the epidemic has heightened people's concerns about health, increased demand for traditional herbal medicine, and promoted the application of technological innovation in the industry. However, the traditional Chinese medicinal materials industry still faces many challenges such as resource shortage, environmental pollution, and market competition in its development. In response to these challenges, governments, enterprises and all sectors of society should strengthen quality supervision and standardization, promote the combination of technological innovation and traditional cultural protection, and focus on sustainable development and resource protection. The results of this study are of great significance for understanding the development trends of the traditional medicinal materials industry and formulating corresponding policies and strategies.

本研究探討全球新型冠狀病毒疫情對亞洲傳統草藥行業的影響以及行業在後疫情時期的發展趨勢。通過文獻綜述和分析方法，研究了疫情對健康意識的提升、傳統草藥需求的增加以及現代科技對傳統草藥行業的影響。結果顯示，疫情加劇了人們對健康的關注，提高了對傳統草藥的需求，幷推動了科技創新在行業中的應用。然而，傳統草藥行業在發展中仍面臨諸多挑戰，包括資源短缺、環境污染和市場競爭等。爲了應對這些挑戰，政府、企業和社會各界應加强質量監管和標準化，推動科技創新與傳統文化保護的結合，注重可持續發展與資源保護。本研究的發現對於瞭解傳統草藥行業的發展趨勢以及制定相應政策和策略具有重要意義。
