This paper mainly discusses the distribution of Kang characters in "A Dream of Red Mansions". When Cao Xueqin uses Kang and bed, the cultural meaning and emotional reference given to Kang are obviously different from that of bed. Through the analysis of the spatial semantics of the two, it discusses the unique northern cultural context of the Kang, and discusses that in addition to the daily elegance of the Jia family, the Kang also serves as an exhibition venue for the characters' daily lives and the relatives of the inferior and inferior. Finally, it is proposed that the Grand View Garden is close to the non-kang. The characteristics and the situation of "replacement of kang with bed", comprehensively discuss the author's motivation for writing and his subjective consciousness of space writing.
