校園是都市中重要的開放空間，多樣的使用類型，有如一小型城市，它涉及長期的發展與過渡轉型。近年來「生態都市」觀念的興起，都會型校園角色的轉變，教育制度的改變等促使傳統校園規劃必須進行轉型。 台北科技大學校園屬都市型校園，西區校園從工專時期轉型到科技大學時期，雖多年經營生態校園，其間空間仍有待更進一步整合之需求。西區校園以人文核心區為中心，包含人文廣場、榕園、長廊、圖書館、第三教學大樓及周邊開放空間。人文核心區南北地面層活動長期被圖書館及第三教學大樓所阻隔，低矮樓層空間與地面層活動長期於處於不協調狀態。 本論文以人文核心區為規劃設計範圍，透過誘導式結構為理論及操作機制，以圖書館建築、校園規劃、大學教育等文獻及基地環境資訊等為思考議題。經探討上述議題歸納出二十九項歸結作為本規劃之原則，結合基地條件推論出「社交人文與生態介面相互滲透之立體校園」一項情境，並依此情境轉化為空間結構。

Campus is an important open space in the city. the use of various types, like a small city, it involves long-term development and transition in transition. Western campus to the humanities as the central core area, including the humanities Square, Banyan Tree Park, the promenade, a library, the third academic buildings and the surrounding open space. Humanities core area of North-South activities have long been the ground floor library and academic buildings by the third barrier, low floor space and long-term activities on the ground floor in a state of disharmony. This paper to the humanities core area for the planning and design of the structure through induction of theory and operation mechanism to the Library building, campus planning, university education, literature and environmental information as the base for thinking that. After the discussion of this topic to 30 can be summed into the planning as a principle, with a base conditions inference "the humanities and social ecology of the three-dimensional interface mutual infiltration campus," a situation, and so situation into space structure.
