This thesis takes the poetry of figure painting to explore how to create the poetic atmosphere in the painting, no matter the Poetic Comception of Chinese Fine Brushwork Pointing of Beauties. The word of “poetic” in the art is full of beauty and poetic, and figure painting in history expressed cultural connotation and spiritual sustenance, which is both to intermingle and explain in different ways. I will carefully observe every size of things around the life from the view of life; that is the so-called "don't say there is no good thing in the city", and every little bit in the life is the most beautiful scenery, which is intermingled into the ancient poem artistic conception, practicing for the creation.
This thesis is mainly divided into the first chapter of introduction, which mainly describes the motivation and purpose, research scope and limitations, research methods and definitions of term; the second chapter discusses the connotation of poetic aesthetics, from the poetic painting of “poetry containing painting” and the painting drew after poetry to understand the ancient meaning of poetry in painting; the third chapter is the creation conception of portraits, which will describe poetic creation of portraits through understanding the history of painting and theory and adding photography and data collection to practice in the creation after internalized absorption; the fourth chapter is analysis of works, in which the author analyzes seven pieces of works after creation and respectively explores the connotation of poetic portraits and the author's creative ideas of practice; the fifth chapter is the conclusion, which responses to the research purpose in the first chapter, reviews deficiencies as well as advantages and disadvantages, and explores the possibility of the future development and creation.
