In response to the needs of globalization, the Ministry of Education has promoted high school second foreign language since 1999. The project has continued to have a prototype and effectiveness. I began to teach the Korean elective courses in South Taiwan several high schools. There are many different ways to arrange a course for each school to be promoted with the second foreign language elective. With the rise of Korean, Korean elective classes are also more popular. And the teachers have to think about how to make the courses more ideal.
This study mainly discusses the motivation and attitude of studying Korean for Taiwanese students, and the relationship between them and learning effects. Through the results of the study, we hope to be a reference for the adjustment of teaching methods in high school and Korean elective courses.
In this study, we used questionnaire survey method. The questionnaire was issued for several high school Korean elective students in South Taiwan, and 88 valid questionnaires were actually collected. And the questionnaire data executed descriptive statistical analysis, reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis and other statistical methods to analyze data. And the study explored the correlation between variables. According to data analysis results, the study found that:
1. The influence of Korean Learning motivation, Learning attitude and Learning outcomes by the variations of senior high school students' background.
2. High school students' learning motivation would positively influence the learning outcomes of Korean.
3. High school students' learning attitude would positively influence the learning outcomes of Korean.
4. The influence of Korean learning motivation on the learning outcomes is impacted by the mediator of the learning attitude.
