台灣醫療環境中,醫療服務因就診病患之多樣性與不確定性,導致求醫過程中最長的事情就是等待。而病患真正就診的時間,僅佔整個就醫過程中的一小部份;多數的時間多浪費在等候就診。門診候診室是病患集中最密集,且停留最久的區域,也是動線往來中最為頻繁的一個空間。若等待候診是必要的過程,那麼候診的空間相形之下,使成為來往的病患感知醫療品質優劣最直接的場所。到底環境是否與人的心理感受有關?環境的不同是否在人們的心理層面具有影響性?尤其是評斷醫療品質最直接的空間—候診室,鮮少有人對這類的研究做更進一步的探討分析。本研究選定台北區之醫療區評鑑合格的醫學中心及教學區域醫院各三家的做作為研究案例。透過無干擾觀察法記錄及田野調查,分析並歸納其內科門診候診空間使用模式與型態以及空間使用者的候診行為潛在意義。同時,進行候診空間使用者生理體驗與心理感受之質性訪談,藉以掌握候診空間使用者心理需求與認知感受。將觀察分析出空間的模式與型態和深度訪談得出的使用者之認知感受做對照,最後建立候診空間設計的價值觀與原則。本研究提出在進行醫療院所內科候診空間的設計思考時,可以遵照下列大方向的原則:能夠使情緒紓緩的空間設計、非「醫院感」感受的候診空間設計、親切自在感的空間、「生命感」的氛圍塑造,並且提供時間消磨之活動設計。透過設計師的自由發揮,針對這些價值思考原則設計出真正符合使用者需求的候診空間。 |

In Taiwan’s medical environment, the patients usually spend most of their time in waiting to see a doctor in the process of treatment due to the diversity and uncertainty of patients while the real treatment time is a smart part in the process; so the patients often waste most of time in waiting for treatment. The outpatient waiting room is the place that the patients most densely concentrate and stay for longest time, and the busiest space in the moving line. If waiting for treatment is a necessary process, the space of waiting room is place that the patients most directly percept the medical quality. Whether the environment is related with people’s psychological feeling or not? Whether the difference of environment affects the people’s psychology? But there are few researches to conduct further exploration and analyses of the place for patients using to directly judge the medical quality – waiting room. In this study, three accredited regional medical centers and three teaching hospitals in Taipei medical district were selected as cases study. Through unobtrusive observation and field work, the study analyzed and summarized the usage mode and patterns of waiting room of internal medicine and the potential significance of space users’ waiting behaviors. Meanwhile, the study also conducted qualitative interviews of waiting space users for their physical experiences and psychological feeling to understand and grasp the psychological demands and perceptive feelings of waiting space users. Then compare the observed and analyzed spatial mode and type with the user’s perceptive feelings from in-depth interviews before establish value and principles of space design of waiting room in the final stage. This study recommend following principles and directions in considering the design of waiting room of internal medicine of hospital or clinic: a space design of waiting room that enable patients to alleviate the emotion, not the feeling of “hospital sense” , warm and comfortable feeling, shaping of atmosphere of “sense of life” as well as activity design for killing time. It is hoped, through the free creation and based on the principles for value consideration; the designers could design a waiting space that properly meets the demands from the users. |
