由於蟬有蛻皮現象，就像蠶寶寶一樣，蛇也是如此，經過蛻皮而成長，但在兵法三十六言|有「金蟬脫殼」，成了其中的一個計謀策略，屬軍事學純疇，在此不贅述。因此蟬蛻就經老祖宗開啟了思維的腦袋，把它應用在皮膚病的治療上，卓具效果，因為有病變的皮膚像金蟬脫殼般去除了，重新長出了新的組織，去腐生新、推陳出新，皮膚病患（包括眼疾的白內障）豈不是霍然而癒耶！！

Cicadas, as well as silkworms and snakes, must go through ecdysis to grow up ”Getting Away Like the Cicada Sloughing 1Is Skin” is one of the ”36 Strategies” it is a military topic. Cicadae Periostracum is applied in traditional Chinese medicine and has positive effects on treatment of skin disease. The diseased skin can be moved away easily just like a cicada sloughing its skin. The patients with skin diseases (including cataract) were restored to health.
