卵巢早衰出現在40歲前，每一百人可能會有一人罹患卵巢早衰症，但未滿20歲的案例是很罕見，卵巢提早衰竭就如同更年期提早來臨，會提前產生月經後期、皮膚老化、骨質疏鬆、心血管等疾病，造成女性許多生活上的不便。本病例是一位19歲女性，初經13歲，然而從15歲開始出現月經異常，至婦產科診斷為卵巢早衰（Premature ovarian failure），服西藥4年未見明顯好轉，到今年2月至本院就診，服藥2個月後，月經恢復正常，FSH由初診的77.3回復至正常值。

Normally one among 100 females may suffer from premature ovarian failure before the age of 40. It's really rare to have this failure before 20. Premature ovarian failure is more like menopause comes earlier, which may cause delayed menstruation, early skin aging, osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases and so on and would bring great inconvenience in life.This case is about a 19-year-old female, whose menarche came at the age of 13. Since she was 15, the irregularity of menstruation occurred, and she was diagnosed with premature ovarian failure. There is no obvious improvement after having taken western medicine for 4 years. In this February, she came to our hospital to look for help. After taking Chinese medicine for two months, she has regular menses now and the value of FSH turns to be normal from 77.3.
