參數化模型(Parametric Modeling)相較於以電腦來輔助繪圖的觀念,應有更多的契機得以運用於工藝設計。本研究是在參數化模型的優勢前提下,採用開放程式蚱蜢軟體(Grasshopper)為參數化工具進行三個設計實作,探討工藝在設計與製作過程中,參數化作用如何整合各種設計條件,提升設計在1.條件管理(提供客製選項、防錯限制、設計規則制定);2.製作輔助(備料、放樣、輸出與組裝);3.測試檢驗(安全性檢查、成果評估),三個面向上的議題。研究結果發現,透過參數化將設計條件與資訊整合,除了便於模型的立即修改、放樣與呈現之外,更有助於成果檢驗的進行,特別是製作面向上與實務議題所產生的結果更得以回饋於設計條件、規則與檢驗評估的修正,使參數化的作用在1.方案機制(Solution Mechanism);2.製造機制(Fabrication Mechanism);與3.評估機制(Evaluation Mechanism)三個面向上相輔相成,其整體發展有助於工藝產品的客製化。

英文摘要

Computer aided design usually refers to the use of drawing. This study has a discussion on digital application and craft design, which is based on the advantages of parametrization. This study takes Grasshopper as a parametric tool to make three projects for study, and explores the integration of design conditions, manufacturing problems, and checking the safety problems in the three projects. The results show that the parametrization of design conditions is helpful to check the result as an evaluation mechanism. In particular, the feedback of manufacturing and practical problems is additive to the modification of modeling logic, conditions, and testing, promoting the interaction of parametric values between solution mechanism, fabrication mechanism, and evaluation mechanism; contributing to the customization of craft design.
