張玉珍教授擅治胎漏、胎動不安和滑胎，認為脾腎虛弱，衝任損傷，胎元不固為其主要病機，以補腎健脾，益氣養血為安胎常法，巧用活血化瘀法及清熱養血安胎法，靈活運用，隨證加減，其安胎學術思想可總結為“病證結合，重視腎脾”。並強調妊娠期靜養禁欲，寧神安胎，療效顯著，充分發揮了中醫藥在安胎上的特色與優勢。

Prof.Zhang Yuzhen is good at treating threatened abortion and her academic thoughts of anti-abortion can be summed up in two aspects mainly: combining disease and syndrome and putting emphasis on spleen and kidney. She considers tonifying kidney and spleen and invogorating qi and nourishing blood as the basis treatment. And it is flexible and effective to prevent miscarriage with kidney-nourishing, qi-enriching and blood-activating therapy and heat-clearing and blood-nourishing anti-abortion treatment. What's more, she always enjoins pregnant women to set aside their worries and have a good rest, abstinence, repose, and calm mind. Prof.Zhang Yuzhen gives traditional Chinese medicine to full play and her therapeatic effects in anti-abortion are remarkbale.
