這是一位53歲的女性病患。約一年前開始出現月經週期不規則，近半年月經未至，潮熱症狀開始明顯，並陸續出現睡眠差、膝關節、肩關節、膝內側韌帶痠痛多，手指末端有麻木僵硬感等更年期症候群的臨床症狀。於109年07月09日來中醫門診治療1個月，中醫診斷證型屬肝腎陰虛火旺，兼有心火，期間服用中藥後，以Greene更年期症狀量表評估病人更年期症狀表現嚴重度由34分降低為13分，證實適當使用中醫藥對改善更年期障礙有良好的治療效果，能使病人維持理想的更年期生理狀態，提高更年期的生活品質。

This is a 53-year-old female patient with irregular menstrual cycles started about a year ago. Her menstruation has missed the period nearly half a year. The symptoms of hot flashes have begun to be obvious, and other menopausal symptoms have appeared such as poor sleep, knee joints, shoulder joints, and medial knee ligaments soreness, and numbness and stiffness at the end of fingers. The patient had visited the TCM clinic for 1 month since 2020/07/09 under Chinese medical diagnosis of hyperactivity of fire due to liver and kidney yin deficiency, with heart fire. After taking Chinese medicine during the period, the severity of menopausal symptoms was assessed by the Greene Menopause Symptom Scale from 34 points reduced to 13 points, which provides that the proper use of Chinese medicine would have excellent therapeutically effects in reliving menopausal disorders, enabling patients to maintain an ideal menopausal physiological state and improving the quality of life in menopause.
