未足月早期破水的發生率佔約為3%，其中小於27週的未足月早期破水的發生率約為0.5%。此外，連帶合併新生兒死亡的風險機率佔約18%－20%，包含呼吸窘迫症候群、新生兒敗血症甚至死亡；臨床上大約只有7.7%～9.7%的患者羊膜會自行修復。本篇討論一名懷孕13+6周的婦人透過婦產科治療未足月早期破水已2周，有反覆出血偶伴隨羊水流出，於會診結合中藥介入治療2周後，症狀改善已無出血且順利出院，希望可作為臨床醫師欲改善早期破水安胎的中西醫合併治療參考。

Preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM) is a maternal threatening issue. It complicates about 3% of deliveries overall. Additionally, it is associated with 18% to 20% of perinatal morbidity, including respiratory distress syndrome, neonatal sepsis, and fetal death. Only in 7.7%～9.7% of PPROM patients, the amniotic membrane would self-repair. This paper describes a case of a thirteen weeks old pregnant woman who was diagnosed as PPROM, with symptoms of vaginal bleeding and amniotic fluid leakage for two weeks. After combining traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) treatment with western medicine, the patient no longer had vaginal bleeding and amniotic fluid leakage. She was discharged under stable condition. This report provided a case with and effective method for the treatment of PPROM using TCM.
