在不孕症的夫妻中，男性方面的因素佔所有病因的三分之一，男性不孕為當前生殖醫學重點關注的議題，中醫體質與男性不孕症也被認為有一定的相關。本研究藉由回溯性研究，分析全民健康保險中醫提升孕產照護品質計畫數據，探討有助孕需求而求診中醫男性的年齡分布、精液參數與中醫體質，並了解中醫照護前後其體質變化。研究結果指出，分析的1872位患者平均年齡為36.4±5.3歲，最常見的偏態體質為氣鬱質（37.0%）、陽虛質（36.4%）、氣虛質（35.4%）與痰濕質（30.0%），並證實中醫藥介入治療能顯著改善不孕男性體質中的氣虛質、痰濕質、血瘀質及特稟質；1656位有精液參數數據的患者中有51.2%精液參數異常，其中以精蟲活動力異常（32.84%）為最大宗。

Male factors account for one-third of total etiologies in male infertility, which is a current highly concerned issue. According to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory, certain types of TCM constitution are associated with male infertility. This retrospective study aimed to explore the age distribution, semen parameters, and TCM constitutions of 1872 male patients seeking TCM therapy for pregnancy assistance, as well as to evaluate their constitutional type changes before and after TCM intervention. All information about the patients was obtained from the National Health Insurance Pilot Project of Pregnancy & Childbirth Management using traditional Chinese medicine. Among 1872 participants with an average year of 36.4±5.3, the most common TCM constitutions were qi-depression (37.0%), yang-deficiency (36.4%), qi-deficiency (35.4%), and phlegm-wetness (30.0%). After receiving TCM therapy, constitutional types of qi-deficiency, phlegm-wetness, blood stasis, and special diathesis were significantly improved. Among the 1656 patients with semen parameter data, 51.2% had abnormal semen parameters, among which abnormal sperm motility (32.84%) was the most common.
