本文旨在敘論劉焯生平傳記，以《隋書‧儒林傳‧劉焯傳》爲主，《資治通鑑》、《北史‧儒林傳‧劉焯傳》爲輔，再參考其他資料，以年代先後爲序，依事繫年，排比考證資料之異同，撰成〈《隋書‧儒林傳‧劉焯傳》疏證〉。

The aims of this article are about demonstrating the biography of Juo Liu. The information of ”The History of Suei Dynasty-The Biography of Scholars-The Biography of Juo Liu” is the main source whiles the material of the ”Tze-Chi-Tung-Chien-The History of Northern Dynasty-The Biography of Scholars-The Biography of Juo Liu” as the supplement. In addition, other related information is added in order of its time and the similarities and the differences of the examined data. This article is formed under the above-mentioned information and data.
