本研究的目的在探討國中輔導教師對國中青少年的身心特徵、晤談問題及諮商作法的知覺與經驗。研究對象選自國內三所師範大學的心理諮商與輔導學系畢業生,且至少畢業三年以上,目前仍在國中服務者,實際參與訪談共33人,計分七個場次進行團體訪談。所有訪談資料依據開放性編碼方式進行資料分析。研究結果分為三部份:第一部份探討青少年個案展現之身心特徵,包含:口語表達、認知發展、性發展、情緒及行動展現、對未來少作考量、尋求被肯定與被愛等六個向度呈現。第二部份為探討青少年問題型態及影響青少年個案問題產生的相關因素;第三部份則為國中輔導老師對諮商工作的定位,會依個案性質及學校環境而彈性調整,同時如何與青少年實際進行諮商,則分別由諮商關係、諮商態度、諮商目標、諮商技巧、系統精神、多元文化及轉介等方面探討之。最後根據研究結果,對青少年實務工作提出具體建議。

英文摘要

The purpose of the study was to explore the perception and experience of the junior high school counselors about the adolescent clients’ characteristics, counseling problems, and the way of counseling. Thirty-three research participants were from three Normal Universities’ Counseling and Guidance Program in Taiwan and were graduated at least for three years. They all were working as school counselors and were divided into seven groups to participate the group interview. All collected data was analyzed following open coding strategy. The research findings were divided into three parts. The first part focused on the characteristics of adolescent clients which covered verbal expression, cognitive development, sexual development, emotion and behavior, less future-oriented, and seeking being affirmed and loved. The second part focused on the types of the client’s problem and the related factors affecting the problem. The third part focused on how the counselors thought about school counseling in junior high schools and how they concerned the type of clients and the school environment to adjust the way of conducting counseling. Further from counseling relationship, counseling goal, counseling techniques, system viewpoint, multi-culture consideration, and referring to explain how the counselors counseled clients. Finally the researchers based on the research findings to provide suggestions.
