藥癮者因為販毒，使用藥物等行為受到刑罰者，有逐漸增加之勢。降低對於毒品的依賴，積極創造支持性環境，以促進藥癮者之戒癮。其次，社工師身為協助與輔導追蹤的第一線人員，扮演一個很重要的協助角色。再者，政府重視藥癮者之議題，讓社工師相繼投入毒癮防制之列，協助藥癮者重返社會，讓藥癮者降低對於毒品之依賴。歸本研究納發現：1、毒品防制問題並不只是政府機關，而是民眾對於毒品防制之認知與防制看法，能否接納藥癮者。2、社工師的角色在毒品防制與藥癮者之追蹤，角色多元，跟藥癮者是陪伴關係、輔導關係等。3、藥癮者回歸於社會之正常的人際關係與正常工作所得，才能戒斷其藥癮。4、政府對於社工師與社工師角色的支持，必須要長期有資源的投入。5、因為毒品戒治若是難以看到成效，對於社工師的信心或多或少會有打擊，故社工師內部團體支援相當重要。6、社工師不是藥癮者「新人生導師的角色」，反而需要深度了解藥癮者需求結合社會資源以戒斷毒癮。

The number of drug addicts who are punished for drug trafficking and drug use is gradually increasing. Reduce dependence on drugs and actively create a supportive environment to promote withdrawal from drug addiction. Secondly, social workers, as the front-line staff of assistance and counseling follow-up, play a very important assisting role. Furthermore, the government attaches great importance to the issue of drug addicts, and social workers have been involved in the prevention and control of drug addiction one after another to help drug addicts reintegrate into society and reduce their dependence on drugs. 1. The problem of drug control is not just government agencies, but the public's cognition and views on drug control, and whether drug addicts can be accepted. 2. The role of social workers in drug prevention and tracking of drug addicts has multiple roles, such as companionship and counseling relationships with drug addicts. 3. Only when drug addicts return to normal social relationships and normal work income can they quit their drug addiction. 4. The government's support for social workers and the role of social workers must have long-term resource input. 5. If it is difficult to see the effect of drug rehabilitation, it will more or less damage the confidence of social workers, so social workers' internal group support is very important. 6. Social workers are not the role of "new life mentors" for drug addicts. Instead, they need to deeply understand the needs of drug addicts and combine social resources to quit drug addiction.
